Plain version: we collect only what we need to run Ignixs, use essential cookies only, do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and do not show your email address publicly. You can ask us to delete your data through available contact options on the site.
Who we are
Ignixs is a music platform for listening, discovering, and (for approved artists) uploading and managing music. This policy explains what personal data the site handles and why.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier. We use Google only to sign you in. We never see or store your Google password.
When you use the platform: display name, handle, bio, preferences, library activity (likes, follows, play history where enabled), notifications, and any profile or artist details you choose to provide.
When you apply as an artist or upload music: application details, work reference links, track metadata, artwork, audio files, and related studio settings.
Automatically: standard server, security, session, and anti-abuse information may be processed so the site can stay online, keep users logged in, prevent spam, and diagnose problems. If Cloudflare or similar protection is enabled, it may also process security and anti-abuse signals.
Why we use it
We use this information to run Ignixs: to sign you in, host and stream music, manage artist applications and studio tools, show public profiles and catalogs, keep the site secure, and contact you about your account or content when needed. Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you asked for and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the platform. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies, such as a sign-in session cookie so you stay logged in and any security cookies needed to protect the site. We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. Because these cookies are essential to a function you asked for, we do not show a consent banner. You can block cookies in your browser, but you will not be able to sign in without the session cookie.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share personal data only with providers needed to run the service, and each only handles what it needs for its part:
- the site host/server and database used to run the site;
- Google sign-in and account authentication;
- the hosting mail system or configured email provider if transactional email is enabled;
- YouTube, where YouTube links, thumbnails, video details, embeds, or stats are used;
- Cloudflare or similar security/CDN tools if enabled for protection, caching, or analytics.
What is shown publicly
Public artist names, handles, bios, artwork, published tracks, albums, posts, and related catalog data may be shown publicly. Your email address and Google account details are not shown publicly.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content data while your account is active or as long as needed to run the platform, maintain the catalog, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and keep required records. Ask through available contact options and we will delete or anonymise your account and personal data where reasonably possible, except anything we are required or permitted to keep for legal, safety, moderation, or security reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, delete, or stop using the personal data we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Age and children
You can browse the public site at any age. You must be at least 13 to create an account or sign in, and at least 18 to upload music or apply as an artist. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child under 13 has given us data, contact us and we will delete it where possible. Some countries set a higher age for online consent, so please only use the site if you meet the age requirements where you live. The full age terms are in our Terms of Use.

Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform grows. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
